Event facilities
The Arctic Ceramic Centre is located in Posio on the premises of Wilderness Hotel Kirikeskus. In addition to the ceramic studio and gallery space, the hotel offers accommodation for 58 people and also a high-quality auditorium space for 80 people.
The hotel’s restaurant is located on the top floor of the ceramics studio, so organizing various catering services in addition to ceramics events is effortless.
Kirikeskus’ representative sauna facilities offer high-class sauna and swimming opportunities both in summer and winter in the clean waters of Kirintöjärvi.
IAC 2021 Kongressi
The Arctic Ceramic Centre was given the responsibility of organizing the 2020 IAC congress for the first time in the Nordic countries. The congress was supposed to be held in the summer of 2020 in Posio and Rovaniemi.
The corona pandemic messed up the schedule and the congress was moved to summer 2021. Due to the prolonged corona pandemic, it was finally decided to hold the congress remotely.
